Didi’s work as a filmmaker explores the middle ground where the earthly realm meets those beyond the veil.

Her second short film, White Rum for the Widow (November 2021), follows a duppy-skeptic bartender as she comes face to face with the spirit of an old patron.

Didi’s debut short film, High Strangeness (July 2021), tells the story of a psychic girl living with her ancestral ghosts. The project was one of four recipients of the 2020 Jamaica Film & Television Association (JAFTA) Propella initiative grant.

Didi has made a documentary, music videos, social videos for LACMA and a feature video for BBC Reel.

Didi will begin her MFA in directing at the American Film Institute (AFI) conservatory in Summer 2022.
